Plaza Wardman Tower

Wardman Tower

The Wardman Tower Residences project brought a major renovation to the historic wing of the existing Marriott Wardman Park Hotel located along Connecticut Avenue in the Woodley Park area of Washington D.C.  The historic wing, originally designed by the noted firm of DC architect, Harry Wardman, was originally opened in 1928. Plaza’s scope of work occurred at the basement level residential entrances and upscale residential amenity areas, floors 3-8 (converted into a total of 32 residences), new rooftop amenities and adjacent sitework. The high level of craftsmanship throughout adds to the prestige of the building history and its new design. This 150,000 SF renovation project required constant teamwork and collaboration between the entire project team in order to perform the new construction while continuously keeping existing/occupied Marriott Hotel rooms located within the lower floors of the wing available for hotel guests during construction.
