Plaza Construction Corporation was selected by this Investment Firm to
serve as General Contractor for interior fit-out work at the new headquarters
in Jersey City, NJ.
With offices in over 25 countries, they are a leading global investment
banking, securities and investment management firm that provides a
wide range of services worldwide to a substantial and diversified client
base that includes corporations, financial institutions, governments and
high-net-worth individuals.
Plaza's contract included the fit- out of 15 floors of corporate office
space which consisted of interior offices and conference rooms with
metal and glass fronts, perimeter executive offices located in the corners
of the building, and support areas. A trading floor of approximately
10,000 square feet was constructed on the ninth floor. Other
amenities include health care facilities, a child care facility and health
club with full locker rooms and laundry service. A conference center
consisting of multi-use conference rooms equipped with state-of-the-art
audio/visual and teleconferencing capabilities is located on the 21st
floor.
All tenant construction activities were performed simultaneously with
completion of the base building work to meet an April 2004 occupancy.
