With over three decades of extensive and diverse experience in the construction industry, Daniel Peyton brings unique value to the Plaza Construction management team. He currently serves as Senior Vice President and oversees the Washington, DC office. He has served in a variety of field operations, project management, pre-construction and executive positions and has amassed a portfolio of work exceeding 30 million square feet of construction.
Some of Mr. Peyton's notable projects include a 3,000,000-SF convention center; a 98-gate airport terminal that is over one mile long; a 3,000,000-SF package sorting facility; major league sports stadiums including three NFL stadiums, two MLB stadiums and an NBA arena; and in the hospitality segment, over 4,500 hotel rooms for the Ritz-Carlton, Marriott, Conrad, Loews and Hyatt brands. He has also been involved in numerous projects in the office, multi-family, healthcare, retail, education and industrial market segments.
Mr. Peyton is an active member of the Washington Building Congress, and is also actively involved with the Associated Builders and Contractors (Metro DC and Virginia Chapters), the Greater Washington Board of Trade, the International Council of Shopping Centers, the Urban Land Institute, and the District of Columbia Building Industry Association.
