As Chairman and CEO of Plaza Construction, Steven Fisher has assembled an exceptional team of professionals who share his commitment to our community and our industry. Plaza has received several awards from major construction and publishing organizations, including a special citation in 2002 for service at the World Trade Center from The Associated General Contractors of America.
A fourth generation member of the Fisher family, Steven Fisher has played a significant role in shaping the real estate industry at large. His contributions were recognized in 1999 when he was named one of “New York’s Rising Stars” in Crain’s New York Business special Forty Under Forty issue. His philanthropic endeavors have also earned recognition, including the Ellis Island Medal of Honor for charitable and civic contributions, and The Creative Coalition’s Spotlight Award, honoring his and Plaza’s dedication to social consciousness. Mr. Fisher is a Trustee of the Intrepid Museum Foundation, a Trustee Member of the New York State Trooper Foundation, a Board Member of the Police Athletic League, a member of the Founder’s Circle of the New York City Police Museum and a member of the Board of Managers on UrbanAmerica’s Urban II partnership with Fisher Brothers.
