Lester Rivelis has more than thirty years’ experience as a practicing construction attorney representing owners, general contractors and construction managers on domestic and international projects. Mr. Rivelis presently serves as Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel at Plaza Construction working directly with Richard Wood, CEO & President, and senior management in Plaza’s New York, Miami and DC offices. He provides legal guidance and business acumen to bring sound business solutions to complex projects.
His in-depth experience has contributed to Plaza’s growth, competitiveness and core competency.
Mr. Rivelis has been involved in the building of some of the world’s most challenging and iconic projects including the Statue of Liberty/Ellis Island Restoration, the Javits Convention Center in New York, the Atlantis Hotel in the Bahamas, Petronas Towers in Malaysia, Euro Disney in Paris, Canary Wharf and Chelsea Harbor in London, and many more in Germany, Spain and the United States.
He holds a bachelor’s degree from Cornell University and a Juris Doctor degree from New York Law School.
