Michael Paese
Chief Financial Officer / Secretary
Bringing more than 32 years experience in construction and finance to the role of Chief Financial Officer for Plaza Construction, Mr. Paese oversees administration and implementation of all financial and accounting functions, including internal audits, as well as risk management, claims, personnel and management information systems.
As part of Plaza’s senior executive team, Mr. Paese provides counsel to project teams on financial requirements, subcontractor payment terms and construction loan close-outs. He also works closely with our Chief Information Officer to assist project teams in developing customized financial reporting procedures that meet each client’s specific requirements.
Prior to joining Plaza, Mr. Paese served as Treasurer for a major New York City developer, where he was responsible for developing an in-house general counsel and litigation division. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Economics from Queens College and has studied Business Administration at Iona College.
